Global Television Network Awards - Deadline April 15

THE GLOBAL TELEVISION NETWORK AWARD FOR CANADIAN WORK EXPERIENCE (OUTSIDE ALBERTA)

Canadian work experience scholarship recipients will receive financial support to finance travel and living expenses while out-of-province.

Value: Variable number of scholarships at variable amounts.

Eligibility: For a full-time student who has completed a minimum of four semesters in a Faculty of Communication Studies program and who is embarking on an out-of-province work experience.

 

Criteria: Academic achievement. Demonstrated interest in learning and working in another Canadian province.

Application consists of the following:
· a letter of intent identifying your preparation for an out-of-province work experience
· a statement of your personal goals related to the out-of-province work experience you intend to pursue
· a budget detailing anticipated expenditures and financial support for the work experience
· a job description
· a letter of support from the Chair of your program
Submissions will be adjudicated by a committee of faculty from the Faculty of Communication Studies.
After the work experience, scholarship students are expected to submit a report, describing their experiences, to the Faculty of Communication Studies.
