Explore Venice to Istanbul as a foreign correspondent

Tuesday, 06 January 2015 09:28

This July, ieiMedia offers a unique study-abroad program: Working as foreign correspondents, students will explore and report on the affairs of two Mediterranean titans--Venice and Istanbul.

The program kicks off July 2 with four days in Venice--for more than a thousand years Europe's maritime gateway to Turkey and the Orient, and now Istanbul's sister city. We then continue for 3½ weeks in cosmopolitan Istanbul, a spectacular city where Greeks, Arabs and also Italians have lived and worked for centuries.

Next Summer Study Multimedia Journalism in Three Vibrant European Cities

Thursday, 16 October 2014 09:25

Whether you want to become a foreign correspondent, a travel writer, an ethical hometown journalist or a better French speaker and engaged global citizen, then this is the summer program for you: ieiMedia's course in Multimedia Journalism in London, Paris, and Nice.

You will not only see the top sights of London, Paris, and Nice but also go behind the scenes to report on "the little people" who make it all work, the ones who are surmounting cultural and economic changes to make a living -- and a life. To tell their stories in the most interesting and important ways, we will use every means at our disposal, from social media to print, audio and video journalism.

The course runs from June 27 to July 24, 2015, and is open to all students interested in learning multimedia journalism and French, regardless of prior experience in either. Visit ieiMedia.com for more information and an .
