Volunteer writers and photographers for new Magazine in Calgary

Tuesday, 09 January 2018 10:19

Local Drop Magazine is a young, grassroots, community-focused magazine that shines a spotlight on local musicians, artists, businesses, entrepreneurs and more. We believe that for a community to stand strong, it must start locally. Local Drop was established in 2016 and is currently distributed to more than 200 shops and businesses in Calgary.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for more volunteer writers and photographers to join the team. If you are interested in learning more or would like to contribute, please contact editor Laurel McLean at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Calgary Now is looking for a volunteer photographer to come and take photos for us every Tuesday for about an hour  from 6 to 7 at the shaw studio . Could you pass this on to some journalism students that could very well be interested in this ? We are looking for someone to start next Tuesday. This would entail taking a few shots of the crew at work, the host and guests interacting and some shots of host + guests at end of shoot. Thanks very much! Student would get a credit in the credit roll.
